Alan C. Anchell P.A.

Anchell Law was started in August 2003. Attorney Alanchell opened the firm after having spent the first seven years as a defense attorney representing insurance companies, doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, trucking companies, and other people responsible for causing injury. Alan chose to switch sides and represent those who are injured because as he states, “there was an occasion when I represented a physician who would not respond to his pages and telephone calls that ultimately resulted in a child dying at birth. When I confronted the physician during my initial visit as to why he did not respond to the pages and telephone calls, he stated ‘that’s why I have insurance, Alan.’. From that point on, I knew I had to put my skills and knowledge to work for those who are victims.”
Alan was hired to try cases at a large Plaintiff’s firm, Greenspoon & Marder, where he spent two years learning the ins and outs of representing Plaintiffs before forming his own firm in August 2003. He has enjoyed much success both professionally and personally in helping those in need ever since.
Anchell is a Florida native having been born in Miami Beach and raised in North Miami Beach. He was forced to overcome some difficult obstacles at a young age having lost his father at age 18 and his mother just ten months later at age 19. Alan attended the University of Florida in Gainesville and obtained a degree in business administration and then went on to law school. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in 1994 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994.
Alan is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Southern District of Florida Federal Court, the Broward County Bar Association, Florida Justice Association and a Plantation Football Athletic League Board Member.
Attorney Anchell has tried numerous cases to verdict both as a defense lawyer for the insurance companies and as an attorney for plaintiffs. His experience on both sides provides him with insight into his client’s cases where others may not know to look.
Alan serves as a mentor for at risk students at Parkway Middle School of the Arts in Lauderhill, Florida.
